Grain over pixels.
I'm Jakob — '08, based in Hamburg, student and sidequest maxxer. And somewhere in the middle of all that, I shoot film.
I've been taking pictures for as long as I can remember. But a few years ago I discovered analog photography — and something clicked. Film changed the way I shoot. Not the look, but the mindset. Suddenly every frame mattered a little more.
I photograph what catches my eye — a building, a landscape, a moment with friends. Nothing too deliberate, nothing too staged. I just move through the world with a camera and shoot what feels worth it. The fact that it's all on film means I think twice before I do — and that makes all the difference.
